Supported Languages

Elevate transcribes observations in two languages. You choose the language when you set up an observation — see Before you start an observation.

Available languages

• English (the default)
• Spanish

Choosing the right one

Pick the language the lesson is mostly conducted in. That tells Elevate how to transcribe what it hears, and it helps student-name removal handle that language's naming patterns correctly — including Spanish naming conventions like compound surnames and accented names. See Student name scrubbing explained.

Note: The language is set per observation, so you can run an English lesson one day and a Spanish lesson the next.
