Your Evaluation Rubric Framework
The teaching frameworks Elevate supports and how the rubric shapes your reports.
Elevate aligns its AI suggestions and reports to a research-based teaching framework. Your district chooses which one to use.
Supported frameworks
Elevate supports two versions of the Danielson Framework for Teaching:
- 2022 Danielson Framework for Teaching (the default)
- 2011 Danielson Framework for Teaching
A tech admin sets the framework for the district as part of district configuration.
What the framework focuses on
Because Elevate is built around classroom observation, it focuses on the observable domains of the framework — the parts you can see and hear during a lesson, like the learning environment and the learning experiences. Other domains, such as planning and professional responsibilities, fall outside a single observation.
A note on custom rubrics
Elevate currently uses the built-in Danielson frameworks. Uploading a fully custom district rubric isn't available yet. If your district uses a framework based on Danielson, the 2022 or 2011 version will usually map closely.
Note: The framework guides Elevate's suggestions, but you're always in control. You decide which strengths and growth areas make it into the final report — see Using the Report Builder.
