Navigating Elevate

Elevate runs in your web browser — there's nothing to install. Once you sign in, you'll land on your dashboard, with a navigation sidebar on the left.

The sidebar

What you see in the sidebar depends on your role:

• Dashboard — your starting point and recent activity.
• Observations — start a new observation and review past ones (for evaluators).
• Teachers — the roster of teachers you observe.
• Analytics — district and school insights (for leaders and admins).
• Settings — manage users (for tech admins, HR directors, and principals); schools and district configuration are tech-admin only.
• Help — this Help Center.

If you don't see one of these, your role doesn't include it. Learn more in Understanding roles and permissions.

The dashboard

Your dashboard is the quickest way to pick up where you left off and to start something new. Evaluators can jump straight into a new observation from here.

Your account

Your name and role appear in the top corner. From there you can reach your account and sign out.

Tip: Elevate works on a laptop, tablet, or phone, but for running observations a laptop with a good microphone gives the best results. See Browser and hardware requirements.
